Shivapuri Nagarjung National Park Hiking.

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is the ninth national park in Nepal and was established in 2002. It is located in the country’s mid-hills on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley and named after Shivapuri Peak of 2,732 m altitude. Shivapuri is a short and easy adventure near the Kathmandu. Bagmati River  is rises from Baghdowar and flowing nearby Holy place Pashupatinath temple area. In the morning after breakfast  we drive  30 minutes to Budhanilkantha Temple which is 8 km north of Kathmandu. First of all we go to visit in Budhanilkantha temple,  after hike through Shivapuri Nagarjung National Park area, exploring over 510 species.  Nagi Gumpa is located at an altitude of 2330m north of Kathmandu just above from Budhanilkantha Temple. This is  a famous Monastery for those Nuns practice in Buddhism and foreigners visiting for meditation, We find different types of flora and fauna in this region makes a sense to visit to Shivapuri national park.
